Staying up-to-date with the mandatory security awareness training and ensuring your laptops and devices, where used for University work, are secure is a great way to protect yourself and the University.
Researchers intending to use departmental or third-party IT systems or services to support research must assess the security risks associated with such usage at an early stage. This is particularly important when a data protection by design (DPIA) is required. The Information Security (InfoSec) team can provide a security review service if needed, contact the team via grc@infosec.ox.ac.uk to make a request. Please note that some basic information is required to complete such a review.
